The Chinese Medical Centre has been in business since 1997. Our clinic represents the history of Chinese Medicine which has existed for at over 3000 years. It continues to evolve and has been extensively practised and painstakingly researched. Chinese Medicine is a truly natural form of healing power, aiming at regulating the whole body rather than just treating the symptoms. Chinese Medicine has three basic components: Acupuncture, Herbal Therapy and Acupressure. As well as this the clinic also practices many more types of therapy and alternative medicine; such as Ear Candle, TDP Bio-Lamp and Facial Enhancement Acupuncture Treatments.

Our professionally run, popular clinic is VHI and BUPA approved and based in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, Ireland. Right beside the Art of Eating Health Food Store.

Our staff take pride in there work, their priority of course being the patient, for a breakdown of booking procedure, type of possible treatment required, please refer to our Patients page.

Throughout history, Herbs were the most important medical therapy for ancient people including the Romans, Chinese and African civilisations.

There are more than 300 herbs in common use. Chinese herbs regulate the internal organs and immune system. They work very effectively on relieving the symptoms or illnesses such as insomnia, eczema, PMS, depression and menopausal syndrome.

Acupuncture removes obstructions from the meridians by carefully inserting needles. You will feel a mere tingling sensation which is not painful. This regulates the flow of Qi, and strenghthens the Yin and/or Yang which is your natural life force. Acupressure follows the same principles but using the hands instead of needles.
